Five Startups to Benefit from Stage V, Québec Tech’s new service

‍Montreal, November 20, 2024 – Québec Tech launched last July, is making a bold move today with the unveiling of the first five Quebec startups that will have access to Stage V. These innovative tech companies will benefit from a personalized support service starting this Fall. Through a rigorous selection process, overseen by independent experts and seasoned entrepreneurs, these startups were selected for Stage V after being recommended by support organizations and chosen for their high-growth potential, cutting-edge technologies, and positive societal impact.

Meet the First Startups of Stage V Ready to Scale Globally

• BioIntelligence Technologies - BioIntelligence creates, develops, and commercializes innovative smart instruments and software to monitor, understand, predict, and optimize bioprocess performance.
• Ferreol Technologies - Ferreol develops on of the strongest aluminum alloys in the world, made from Quebec aluminum, with one of the world's smallest ecological footprints. 
• flovver - flovver offers an end-to-end lending ecosystem to empower progress in financial services by making sharing money accessible to all.
• Lime Santé - Lime is a SaaS company dedicated to improving patient experience and measuring patient outcomes. The platform enables healthcare organizations to create digital patient pathways, enhancing patient engagement in their care journey.
• Maket - Maket is a generative AI technology that automates the design and exploration of residential architecture projects, enabling anyone to plan, design, and create their own home.

Stage V: A Springboard to International Success

Québec Tech’s mission is to foster an ambitious, global mindset among startups from their early stages. The organization created Stage V to help Quebec’s tech startups break into global markets faster. While this is the first ever Stage V recruitment and onboarding of 5 startups, moving forward, there will be three selection rounds each year, allowing up to fifteen high-potential tech startups to gain access to personalized guidance, customized action plans, expedited pathways to strategic opportunities, and world-class expertise. Additionally, each of them will receive a dedicated budget to support their expansion. 

Participants will follow a structured process following three areas of focus, designed to maximize their international success:

• Market Preparation: Guidance on securing strategic resources, market insights, legal support, and sales force.
• Credibility and Recognition: Connections to a network of local and international contacts, outreach and public relations initiatives, helping them  to build an international reputation.
• Market Acquisition: Access to sector experts, sales cycle tracking, and participation in selected international missions. Each startup has access to a dedicated account manager, a network of experts and experienced international entrepreneurs.
