The SME-Startup Networking Tour: the Laurentians stop
On September 24, we were in Saint-Jérôme at the magnificent Théâtre Gilles-Vigneault in parallel with the Connexion Laurentides Annual General Meeting.
These are 21 startups from across Quebec and 6 SMEs in the Laurentians who have participated in networking events over the past few weeks, both virtually and in physical meetings.
The objective of this day? pave the way for a fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship between SMEs and startups and put stakeholders in the best conditions to develop their partnership. This involves raising awareness of the interests of this collaboration.

The technological solutions offered by these companies cover a wide range of innovations for optimization and automation in various sectors, whether in training and HR management or in order and supplier management, robotics, optimization of production plans or through the Internet of Things (IoT) and connectivity 4.0 to improve their performance.
“Connexion Laurentides thought of us. We have been with them for a few years. they know the DNA of our company. they knew that we were a good match to participate in this new program (...) Finally today I had a great meeting. We don't yet know if what we want to do is possible, but we will at least go through, analyze, and hope, the two companies together, find solutions to obtain good results.” Bruno Leduc, director of operations at Exacad, an SME that stands out in the design and manufacture of plastic injection molds.

The PME-Startups Networking Tour is a collaborative project. We collaborate with ERACs (Regional Accelerator and Growth Spaces) across Quebec, the Lanaudière Living Lab and Business Accelerators and Incubators.
