Structuring HR to Support Growth
A Québec-based engineering solutions company, LDV Consultants specializes primarily in mechanical engineering consulting and supports its clients in carrying out complex and innovative projects.
During its first 15 years, human resources management was shared among several people and relied primarily on Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and various internal files.
As the company grew, this way of working began to reach its limits. LDV Consultants wanted to centralize information, better structure its teams, and simplify several processes, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and performance management. The company aimed to implement a system that would support its growth ambitions.
A Solution Tailored to LDV Consultants’ Needs
After developing a list of requirements and meeting with several providers, LDV Consultants chose HRWize, a Québec-based company specializing in HR technology solutions.
The team’s human and accessible approach was one of the key differentiators. Made up of human resources professionals who also understand technology, HRWize quickly understood LDV Consultants’ specific needs and proposed an approach tailored to its reality.

The collaboration, officially launched on April 8, 2025, enabled LDV Consultants to gradually begin transforming its HR practices.
Centralized and Automated Processes
Implementation took place gradually, in phases and modules. During the first year, the teams met weekly to integrate the various features and support LDV Consultants in using them.
Today, several processes are centralized within the platform, including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, documentation, policy signatures, and administrative follow-ups.
For LDV Consultants, which now has 95 employees, this transformation has resulted primarily in significant time savings and greater structure. Managers can more easily access employee files and follow-ups, while new employees can find their documents, access information, and tasks all in one place.
The integration with the Employer D payroll system also helps reduce duplicate data entry and certain administrative tasks.
Continuing the HR Transformation
The collaboration between LDV Consultants and HRWize continues today on a more occasional basis, as the LDV team has become increasingly autonomous in using the platform.
The next steps will focus in particular on training and competency management modules.
After centralizing and automating several of its processes, LDV Consultants continues to evolve its HR practices to better support its growth.
